Lance and only Lance. Stella gets away with calling me Lan but that's about it.
How old are you my dear?
sixteen at the moment but will be seventeen at the end of September
What type of wand do you carry for protection in these times?
11in dragon heart string and ash. *shifty eyes*
What school do you hail from and what year are you in? If you are an adult what was your school and what now is your occupations.
Durmstrang Institute of Magic. No the Dark Arts aren't the only thing taught at this school so don't give me that look.
If you hail from Hogwarts what house are you in? If you do not what is your impression of Hogwarts?
Its bigger then our castle at home and there are all manners of creatures that won't roam our land because it is so cold. However I don't have much of an opinion on it as of yet really.
What is your take on the announcement of the Triwizard Tournament? Those of you from Durmstrang of Beauxbatons...Why did you come here and why were you allowed to come?
Well I can put my name in the Goblet. I turn seventeen the end of this month which is in plenty of time to put my name in. I'm here however because my headmaster wanted me here. I suppose he figures I can keep Mal and Stella in line or that I would be upset if i was not with them. That would probably be true in some rights. Needless to say this will be very interesting.
How would you describe yourself?
How would I describe myself. Well I'm know for helping out others no matter who they are. I also tutor many who wish to have me do so. In Hogwarts house standings I suppose I would be a Ravenclaw. I can be say but am a rather loving and down to earth type of guy. I'm usually the voice of reason for the little trouble duo known as Stella and Mal. I don't anger quickly but you won't like me when I am angry. I tolerate a great deal but there is a boundary and if you over step it you will know.
What do you like in this world?
This is the fun list is it not. I'm sure it could go on for days but I won't bore you. I like; animals, playing music and listening to it, violins, reading, flutes, stargazing and hanging out with friends.
What do you dislike about this world?
Well let's see here; being mocked, misunderstandings, being underestimated, people who have no valid reason for being arrogant, uncalled for stupidity, uncalled for fighting, and those who intentionally hurt others.
What's your worst memory? What would the Dementors make you think about?
Watching my father punch a wall and cry when I was five. It scared me.
What is your fondest memory?
My fondest memory would have to be the first quidditch game my father took me too. We had so much fun.
What would you boggart be and how would you change it?
My father's dead body. I would obviously make it into a living breathing version of my father.
What's your hearts desire?
My father and myself and my lover having a wonderful relationship.
Got any secrets you wish to tell?
My lips are sealed dear.
What turns you on in a significant other?
Intelligence and the willingness to help others. I do like my bad boy types as well so long as they know when to show their tender side.
What turns you off in a significant other?
No offense to the ladies but they do turn me off. Over arrogant males that think they are an alpha male piss me off. That's all I can say really.
What smells intoxicate you and what do you think you smell like to others?
carpet--mostly because it reminds me of the time I had rolling around on the carpet at home with my father playing
I do believe i would smell like a mixture of books and metal.
Last but not least do you like the girls or the boys or both?
I'm gay though most people don't know that unless they actually get to know me.
Who is your Father and what is your relationship with him?
Patrick Astin. My father and I are very close. He works alot though when I'm away at school.
Who is your Mother and what is your relationship with her?
Linda Astin nee Astel. She died a few hours after giving birth to me. I never got to know her save through my father's stories. I do hope I make her proud.
Do you have any siblings and if so who are they and how do you feel about them?
I'm the only one.
Are there any other people important to you life?
Stella Black--like a little sister to me
Mal Rancer--a rather crazy younger brother
Viktor Krum--He was my mentor when I came to this school my first year. I do look up to him and could care less about his fame as a Quidditch player. He's a person first.
Do you have any special abilities?
none but rather skilled in sword play contrary to popular belief.
What is your history?
I'm the only child born to Linda and Patrick Astin. I was born in late September and my mother died a few hours after giving birth to me because she was so sick. She'd fallen ill a few weeks prior to my arrival. I was born about a week early. I was a rather easy child to take care of according to my child and he does tend to say that I'm all he has left of my mother besides the memories. He tells me what I want to know when I want to know it. I got my letter at eleven to go to Durmstrang. I excel in my classes and anything I set my mind to there. I'm up for some adventure this year.
Now wasn't that fun? I believe introductions are in order don't you think? So you all know my alias is Son. I've been on this earth for twenty two years. I found this little site by I am the admin.
