LIKES:
- Her mother and father and the few cousins she had meet at school.
- Her new kitten Izar
- A good joke. Like her father she is a bit of a joker.
- Swimming, running and any physical activity
- Milk chocolate
- A night out. Like all teenagers with a bit of freedom Serina likes to take the opportunity to go out around town with a few friends for a bit of unwind time. She loves dancing.
- Drawing and painting. As I mentioned before in her home town she had sold a few of her pieces to tourists. She has a A4 sized book that she never lets anyone look into where she keeps her more personal pictures. Where some people keep a diary Serina keeps a sketch book.
- Sun
DISLIKES:
- Bananas. They are just disgusting as far as she in concerned. She likes monkeys though
- Rain. She is used to the sun and the hot weather so to her even England in the summer is cold. Though since she had learned heating charms she claims that she is used to it now. Take of the heating charms though and watch her shiver.
- People who take advantage of people in need.
- For right now she isn't so fond of men. She will miss around with them and likes leading them on but she doesn't let them touch her or get to close. Oddly though she doesn't mind Sirius so much but that might be because he always seems a bit nervous when he is talking to her.
-Guns. Some muggle shot her mother. Enough said
-Muggles
STRENGTHS:
-She has a deep understand of the way the world works that usually comes with age or with bad life experiences.
- She is able to recover quickly and keep her independence when things go wrong.
-She is observant, being an artist comes in handy sometime and this strength is linked to her passion for real life drawing.
-She is agile and graceful.
-Herbology. She likes plants Serina. Mostly because she can talk to them more openly then she can talk to anyone else in her new life. She hasn't mentioned anything about her life for the last two years to anyone and instead retold stories of her childhood just editing her age in them.
WEAKNESSES:
- She has been home schooled up until she started Hogwarts and so she is still a bit behind her year mates in some classes but she tries not to let it hinder her should anyone try and pick a fight with her.
- Finding out she is part of a large pureblood family has given Serina the urge to protect them all from the same fate as her mother.
- Dark arts. She had never so much as seen a dark arts books until she met her cousins and now she was quickly being obsessed because for some reason dark spells worked better for her than the ministry classed 'light' spells.
- She is fiercely independent.
- New shoes
DEMENTOR:
It had been a perfect day, she had woken up on time for once for her to have a shower and do her hair before it was time to go over the road to the small house that the local Charms Master taught the teenagers of the area basic charms in. Dressed in a pastel yellow summer dress and a pair of flip flops of the same colour Serina wondered over to her class, that had apparently been moved outside, it would be a practice class then.
Smiling to herself Serina greeted her boyfriend of 2 weeks with a soft peak on the cheek before sitting herself in the group of girls she called friends. Greeting everyone with a larger smile Serina quickly glanced at the book laying on the floor in the middle of the circle, colour changing charms and how to preform them where spread over the pages. 'Easy'
The class had bee practising the charms of roughly 20 minutes before a police car had come speeding toward them, the driver was luckily a wizard who had found his dream job working in muggle law enforcement so the view of 20 teenagers flashing different coloured didn't bother him but then again his attention was only on one person.
Standing up as he approached Serina felt someone cancel the charm on her that had her flashing neon green "Officer Heartstone?" She said by why of greeting and of asked what the hell he was doing there.
"Serina" The man rested a hand on her shoulder "There has been an accident, your mother was caught in a muggle shooting"
That was all she heard before she had took off running toward the hospital the only though going though her head was the sound of her feet hitting the compressed earth as she ran, she didn't notice the tears running down her face as she pushed herself faster.
BOGGART:
Her mother decaying on the bed she had been put after she fell into her coma. She fears going to see her mother and sitting there as Corals body slowly decayed until there was nothing left but the tube that was down her throat that helped her breath.
AMORTENTIA:
-Roast Chicken - It was the first thing she could smell when she arrived at Sirius's home but then again she had arrived during lunch.

OVERALL:
Serina at 12 was a lovely friend girl, she enjoyed spending time with friends and long evening with her mother telling stories and or playing card games.
Serina as she is now is someone else, that little girl feels even to her like a completely different person. She still enjoys card games and stories but she prefers to read books to having someone sit with her and make something up. She doesn't like to be touched by hardly anyone and tends to jump and cringe at the same time if someone approaches her from behind. Still she is mostly like any other girl her age though without the usual interest in sex because unlike those other girls she had already tried it and knew how much it hurt.
With her new found freedom and a seemingly never ending supply of money Serina has started to buy all the things she has ever needed and things she never has. Call it retail therapy but she hopes that by being someone else she can forget her past and be her future.

OVERALL:
Born on the 24th May in a small family run hospital in Jamaica; Serina Black was blessed with the aristocratic features of her fathers line.
Coral Anderson met Mister Sirius Black on a trip to England with her friends, after a night of drinking and dancing to the adults had retired together to a hotel room for a night of wild sex, the steamy love affair lasted for the full three weeks that Coral was in England, ending with Sirius giving her a family jewel the night before she old him she was leaving. The hot headed wizard had stormed out of the hotel when Coral refused to extend her trip. It was the last time Coral saw Sirius Black in person but she kept a few mementos along with a stunning ruby in the shape of a heart held on a thin golden chain.
Growing up with the stories of her father and occasionally seeign his face in the news Serina began to want to know more about the other side of her family, an interest her mother Coral did her best to keep under control.
Upon turning 13 Serina's mother was caught in the middle of a muggle fight over a piece of land and was shot in the head, the shot luckily didn't kill her but put her in a coma which she is yet to wake from though the doctors are still hopeful.
-
With her mother in a coma and no father to be found Serina was put into the care of a newly wed couple who were foster parents for 2 other girls the same age as Serina. The government said they hoped she would find a new family and home with the couple. Unfortunately for Serina, it turns out that the couple had not only gone into the fostering business but had also started a pimping business in return for a healthy supply of the muggle drug heroine. With no where else to go and no one who cared to listen to her Serina lived with her foster parents for two years, through that time she 'worked' for the food and clothing she was brought. She had been in the hospital for her 3rd abortion (over the last 2 years the town had been told by her foster parents that she had gone ''of the rails'' when her mother was injured so her in the hospital with broken ribs or having an abortion was nothing new) when a Doctor had recognized her name and informed her that while she was here she could pick up her mothers things, it tuns out her mother had passed away a week before and her foster parents had been told but they hadn't bothered to in form her. The doctor added as he walked away that she had been awake for two days before she had passed on in her sleep.
In shocked silence Serina collected the two boxes that made up her mothers things, their home and everything else they had owned had been sold to pay for the medical bills. With pain lacing though her stomach Serina had sat in her assigned bed waited for the doctors to give herthe all clear to leave, Serina went though the two shoe size boxes, there was only one thing of value there and it had been hidden in a pair of gloves; the gloves had been sellotaped to a letter with Serinas name. Her breath held in anticipation Srina slowly unfolded the letter, her eyes watering as she recognised her mothers hand writing, the letter was dated for Serina's 15th birthday and detailed mostly how much Coral loved her and how sorry she was that she had kept her father from every knowing she existed and that she hoped she could correct that now. Attached to the letter was a slip of parchment with a scribbled address on it...and in the gloves Serina found the heart stone necklace her mother had always treasured. The last thing of interest was that the second box and sealed and had the name Sirius Black written in her mothers shaky handwriting.
These things where all she needed to pull herself out of the slump she had fallen into. If her mother could suck in her fears and let Serina find out for herself if she wanted to know her father then Serina was certainly strong enough to safe herself from the situation she was in. Armed with her mothers wand and the wand she had last used two years ago but had left here when the authorities had dragged her to her new 'family' Serina headed for the nearest magical home to ask permission to pass though their floo; she needed to get to England and introduce herself to her father.
She arrived at Sirius current town house at roughly dinner time, fixing herself up as much as she could (she as still wearing the outfit from her latest 'job' Serina knocked three times on the door to his home, in her hands she held the box her mother had sealed for the man and at her feet was a worn gray backpack that held the only other clothing she had which wasn't much.
That was almost a year ago and now Serina was living in a nice town house with the man she had grown up knowing of but who knew nothing about her. Which was a blessing really, the man acted more as a brother than a father which left Serina with a lot of freedom which living with her mother she hadn't had since the woman had always been trying to protect her.
With unlimited access to the Black family vault Serina had been showered with gifts of Sirius who had decided that he had to make up for all the birthdays he had missed. On of her most cherished gifts off the man was the Black family crest in pewter on a thick silver chain.
Not only was she starting to fit in her new home but she was making friends, maybe the wrong sort of friends as far as her father was concerned but she was enjoying herself.
She especially liked getting to know the family members she had met at school, her cousin for one, Stella, had been one of the main influences in the new life she found herself in.

No. At that word Serina felt her face drop involuntarily, and she was glad that she had been standing at her dresser with her back to Thomas. Her hands froze in the act of uselessly arranging messy boxes of make-up on top of her dresser, breath catching in her throat. Thomas didn't want to be friends with her - he had come here to tell her that he didn't want anything do to with her anymore, that they should avoid each other, that it was for the best if they forgot any feelings they had for each other entirely. Serina gulped, angry at herself for the sudden panic and disappointment that gripped her at his admission and her own irrational thoughts. After all, why should she care if Thomas wanted to completely ignore her from now on? Hadn't fate proven so far that she wasn't worth making plans for? But Serina found that she didn't care anymore and she wanted nothing less than to continue to berate herself over her confusing feelings, the inexplicable lingering wish to remain near to the boy who had hurt her so much. The fact remained that she did care whether Thomas wanted to be friends with her or not. And yes it was crazy and confusing but she couldn't deny the fact that the only thing that would hurt her more than being near Thomas right now would be being far away from him from now on. Cautiously Serina turned around to face him, silently mouthing his 'No' back, her brows furrowed at his suddenly different tone. But she couldn't have expected in a million years what that different voice meant for her.
I love you.
It took Serina a moment to realise that her breath had caught in her throat and she wasn't breathing. Never, never would she have anticipated that. Thomas had never edged towards saying he loved her before. Yes, he had gushed about how great she was when he was feeling tipsy, how fun she was, how much he enjoyed spending time with her. But even with a few drinks to loosen his tongue Thomas was always smart enough to steer clear of the 'L' word altogether. Although, Serina's room-mates had gossiped about it enough, telling her that there were specific rules for those sort of admissions and coaching her on what to do when he finally did say it. All that coaching though had suddenly gone out the window. She was completely shell-shocked. It was probably because nothing like that had come out of the boys mouth before. Not just the 'L' word but something that was so pure and sincere - his behaviour was usually so guarded, and at times even manipulative. He treated their relationship at times, like everything else in his life, as a game. Serina had searched endlessly to break down that guardedness. She had always thought it was pointless. Seemingly she was wrong. She found herself gasping a little, more to pull air back into her oxygen starved lungs than anything else.
