It was Saturday morning and Ginny was standing in front of the mirror messing with her hair. It just didn't want to be tame today for some reason. Getting frustrated she pulled it back into a high pony tail and grabbed her sweater heading out of the Slytherin girl's dormitory. The rest of her dorm mates were still sound asleep. It wasn't exactly like Ginny to be such an early riser but she did like having the bathroom and common to herself when she got up before everyone else. The common room was dark and she plopped onto the couch to take a little rest for no apparent reason. She closed her eyes and dozed for a few more seconds before another pair of footsteps was heard and then a few voices taking. Darn it all, she thought to herself and got up exiting the Slytherin common room.
She took off down the corridor and up the stairs to get onto the ground floor. She left the ground floor through the entrance doors and out onto the grounds. The crisp morning air hit her harshly as she continued her little walk. She wrapped up in her sweater a bit more but it didn't take long for her to get used to the chill. She found her way to the whomping willow and had a bit of fun dodging it while she found the knot to make it calm down for just a bit. She settle down next to it and pulled out a book. She might as well get some reading down while she waited for it to get later in the day and someone found her that she could go to Hogsmeade with. [/center][/blockquote]

Neville finished buttoning up his baby blue polo shirt and straightened it out, before examining himself in the mirror. Neville’s hair had decided to let his hair grow to hide the lightning bolt scar, but because of that, it was really curly. Neville still was not sure if he should just cut it again. He had filled out since his first year. Neville was no longer the chubby kid that everyone was accustomed to, but a handsome young man who had grown almost as tall and thin as Ron Weasley himself. He wore black slacks with blue converse that was black on the bottoms and the shoelaces were black as well. Neville had a blue and black watch on. After living with his grandmother for so many years, it was hard not to dress appropriately, even if it was a weekend.
Neville walked down to the common room then exited the fat lady before descending the stairs. Once he hit the ground floor, Neville walked to the double doors that led outside. He was thinking of going to the Herbology room to look at the different plants. Neville smiled to himself. He remembers his friends back before they were really his friends. When he had expressed his passion for Herbology, they were all shocked, because the Boy-Who-Lived should not be obsessed with plants, but that just showed him that Neville was just human and not some God from another planet.
Neville passed the violent tree before he realized that it wasn’t moving. That meant that someone else was outside. His curiosity getting the better of him, Neville backtracked and saw a girl with red hair sitting underneath the whomping willow, reading a book. Neville smiled nervously.
“Hello Ginevra” he said coolly, using Ginny’s full name, just to spite her.

Ginny was petting the knot of the tree rather affectionately. She didn't want to be got off guard by it trying to smash her. Plus she knew while reading she could very easily be caught off guard. So with one hadn she stroked the knot while the other held her book. She flipped the page and continued to wait for anyone of interest to come up to the tree. A few people had walked by. There were girls giggling to their friends as they headed off to Hogsmeade. Sometimes she wanted to kill the giggling groups. They could be so damn annoying. She was also far to bored at the moment. She made her book disappear and just looked at the people that were walking by her. It seemed it was getting later then expected. Still she didn't mind she was sure a few of her friends would show up. She was rather glad she wasn't just friends with the Malfoy family. She knew that Amaranta was back home so she figured Draco might be as well. She half wondered why Amaranta had to be so damn obedient then again she supposed she would be too if she had the same type of father.
She watched as Neville Longbottom walked by the tree and didn't pay any mind for a second. She smirked as he noticed that the tree was not moving and backtracked his way to her. Yes she had a crush on Neville but that didn't mean that they treated each other all the well. Even after he'd saved her life and all. The Gryffindor Slytherin rivalry kept them pretty much to a perscribed type of deal. In the same way the Draco had to deal with Nellie in certain groups of people. She let out a half growl as he called her her full name. "Oh cut the bloody crap Longbottom...I mean Neville. Its Ginny say my full name again and I'll have no choice but to hex." It wasn't an idle threat either. She'd have no problem doing it. She stood up and walked up too him making sure that her book was away. His nervousness always made him seem so human and she liked that.

"Oh cut the bloody crap Longbottom...I mean Neville. Its Ginny say my full name again and I'll have no choice but to hex." Neville gulped at that.
“Right, er sorry Ginny.” Neville said half sincere and half insinuating. Neville wasn’t just being his usual self which is hard to believe because for being the Boy-Who-Lived, Neville sure doubted himself a lot. Ginny was scary when she was pissed and Neville hoped to never again to get on her bad side unless he wanted the bat bogey hex on him, or worse. Neville inwardly shuddered at that last thought.
Neville walked a bit closer to Ginny and sat besides her, hoping against all hope that she wouldn’t hex him for doing so. Pointing to the book, he asked
“What’re you reading there?” He watched her not so subtly and couldn’t help but drool over her, literally. Neville couldn’t help it though...Ginny was as gorgeous as the day before and the day before that. Why did Neville always have to be nervous around Ginny? He nervously wiped the saliva collecting at the corner of his mouth and swallowed the rest before looking to Ginny, awaiting her answer.

Ginny only threatened hexing on those that were of any slight value to her. It wasn't idle because most knew she would do it if they pissed her off again. For those people she didn't like and just annoyed her to no end hexing wasn't a threat it just happened. Ginny hated being called by her full name. Her mother used it on her all the time. In fact she'd used it in a howler to her just last week. She couldn't even remember why she had gotten the howler in the first place and no one in the great hall really cared to listen to Mrs. Weasley scream at her daughter. Of course Ginny blew it up seconds after it said her name. She paid no mind to such things at all. She gave never a smile when he finally did say her name and apologized. "Its alright Neville just remember next time is all." Her voice was back to its usually charming tones. She was fully aware that she scared even him when she was angry which was why most people stayed on her good side.
Neville came to sit down next to her and she smiled at him a bit for that. She kept betting the knot affectionately so that they both wouldn't get hit by the tree which had had a few moments to wake up while she had stood to walk up to him a bit. She took her seat next to him and smirked at he asked what she was reading. So he had noticed she had been reading. Her book was away now though. "Oh nothing of importance. Just trying to pass the time as I was out here early." She wasn't going to tell the boy who lived she was reading about the dark arts that would just be stupid right. She gave him another soft smile. "I'm so bored though. Care to go to Hogsmeade with me?" It was the weekend and she was sure no one would question the two of them walking to Hogsmeade together unless they wanted to die that was.

Neville relaxed slightly relieved when Ginny gave him a smile. Neville hoped that that was a good smile. "Its alright Neville just remember next time is all." Her voice was back to its usually charming tones. Ginny seemed startled when Neville asked her about the book, but he neither really noticed nor cared at the moment. He was talking to his crush after all! "Oh nothing of importance. Just trying to pass the time as I was out here early." Neville’s stomach fluttered when Ginny smiled at him. ’Damn those girl charms!’ Neville cursed slightly to himself, as she gave him another soft smile. Neville’s jaw dropped when Ginny asked him a question. "I'm so bored though. Care to go to Hogsmeade with me?" He closed his mouth and blinked twice. ”Y-you wanna go w-with me?” he asked nervously. After all, nobody wanted to be around an idiot. Even if that idiot was the boy who lived.
OOC: First of all, sorry it’s taken me this long to reply. I’m out of school, well, I’ve been out for almost two weeks, so I have no excuses except I was over a few sleepovers and no muse. So, I hope this is good enough for you.
