She hadn't wanted to say she was nervous in front of Sirius but now that she could see the castle she would call home for the new few months she could feel herself tense. She had been looking forward to coming here all summer, ever since Sirius and his friend Remus had told her about the things they used to get up to here but now that she was almost there she felt as if her stomach was doing the tango. Standing from her seat Serina smoothed her new robes of any slight crease before unlocking the compartment door and stepping into the crowd that was slowly heading toward the trains exits. It was September the 1st and everyone had arrived again for another school year. Following the crowd the 16 year old wondered if she should have gotten her trunk from the compartment after all as she spotted a few smaller girls dragging these along behind them. 'Or not' She let the thought drift out of mind as an older girl with a shiny badge told them to leave their things and make their way to the boats. Serina stood in silence once she was out of the train. She wasn't sure what to do, she knew no one around her and felt a bit left out as greetings and summer stories filled the silence of the train station with the hum of many people talking at once. Back at Hogwarts again for his last and final year. Tristan Bright felt a little sad at that thought. The school had been the best thing that had ever happened to him. He had made a lot of friends here, but pretty soon he would be moving on and he knew how harsh the world was... The recent death of his mother weighed heavily on his conscious. He sighed slightly to himself as he shoved his hands into his trousers, leaving the Express train behind in a trail of smoke. He knew from experience that he didn't have to worry about his luggage since that would be sent to the castle by Magic so he had nothing to do except wait.
He saw a girl standing off on her own and he made his way over. Even though he really wasn't into the opposite sex as much as he appeared to be, he had to keep up his appearances; plus, she looked a bit lonely and lost so his natural desire to help outweighed everything else. He approached her cautiously, not sure how she would react to his sudden presence. After all, there were some people who wanted to be apart from the others for various reasons....
"Hey there." Tristan gave her a charming smile. "I don't think I've seen you around much, but you look kind of familiar... My name's Tristan Bright."

'My god could he show me anymore of his teeth with that smile?' Eying the guy 'Tristan Bright' up and down Serina turned her gaze up to his face, her expression up impressed "We've never met" She assured him, she wasn't very fond of men as a rule but she didn't meet the occasional one who she didn't feel she had to keep her guard up around all the time, those guys were few and far between for her though, she knew that most of the guys around her right now for instances where slime balls and she wanted nothing to do with them outside her own gratification.
"Serina Black" She offered by way of her own introduction, knowing her face would be open and friendly even if she didn't mean it, it was something she had taught herself while she was living with her foster family, so guys liked the trusting imagine her and her fellow foster sisters could put on for them and so it had become almost like breathing, a nice guy says hi she had the come hither 'show-me-how you-want-me' look in here eyes.
"Tell me, Tristan Bright" She purred, trailing her index finger up the boys arm "Where exactly am I supposed to go from here" She felt no attraction to him at all but she couldn't help but initiate a game, she lived by them for so long it was a hard habit to break.

Tristan nodded his head as she confirmed the fact that they had never met. She didn't even look all that familiar to him either; he had just said so in order to start up a conversation with the new girl. He couldn't help but to raise his eyebrows when she told him her name.
"Say... You wouldn't happen to be related to the Blacks would you?"
There wasn't anything particularly striking about her appearance that made him think of the Blacks though. He knew a few facts about some of the Pureblood families like the Blacks and the Malfoys because he was a Pureblood too. He had also seen a couple of pictures of Sirius Black in the Daily Prophet so he kind of had an idea as to what Serina should look like and yet he could detect no obvious links. It might have been because he just wasn't the type to notice that sort of thing or maybe it was due to the fact that he never liked staring at girls for a long period of time since it made him feel uncomfortable...
He couldn't help but to smirk as she trailed her finger up his arm. This was more up his alley. "Well... You look older than a first year so I doubt they'll want you to go across the Black Lake in one of those little boats so you just have to wait until the carriages come. Those will take us to Hogwarts." He nodded a bit.
