Sunday. Draco had always enjoyed Sundays, whether it was spending it with his family learning ballroom dancing or spending it alone, in a pub pretending his was his father so he could drown himself in fire whiskey (he tried anyway but once the bar tender realized he could hardly walk he had refused to serve the under cover student anymore; not that Draco noticed at that point as he was occupied with glaring the the empty stool beside him)
With the stool providing no entertainment from him Draco turned his attention to his fellow drunks, when he had arrived the place had been empty apart from a sleeping man who looked like he hadn't moved in weeks and from the smell of him Draco was sure his assessment wasn't far off.
Now you may be wondering why this boy with a seemingly perfect life and a report card that left the world as his oyster; would be sitting in a dirty bar at 10:30pm on a Sunday evening, Alone. Well it was easy to figure out if you knew Draco Malfoy. Only 2 things ever lead him to drink so much (since it was common knowledge that he couldn't handle his drink at ALL) The reason for his being here tonight was in fact his twin. His twin sister.
Now anyone who knew the Malfoy twins knew that it was hard for anything or anyone to come between them but ever since Draco blew off a trip home for a date with his Nellie, Amy (his twin) had been acting odd and no matter what Draco had tried she hadn't responded. He had given up trying to talk to her about 3 days ago and that is what lead him here. There was Nellie who wasn't getting any better on his one side and his sister on the other who had decided that she didn't need Draco anymore to help her with her problems and so that left Draco to deal with his own problems to.
'Selfish. Thats what she is being. Completely selfish!' Grumbling to himself Draco took another shot of fire whiskey, or he tried to. His glass had remained empty for the last 10 minutes since the bar tender had decided the best way to be ride of him now would be to ignore him 'Whatever. Like I care, why would I? I have a twin who would do anything for me and listens to my problems and a baby sister who likes me for me. Well its true for the second one. But I don't see that twin anywhere in here...Shut it! She cares, she does, she just has new people in her life now and they mean more to her right now.' "She will talk to me again I'm sure" Nodding to himself Draco slowly slid himself off his bar stool of the last few hours, it was time to return to school and all without being caught...again.
Using the bar top to help him walk Draco shuffled slowly toward the exit, he would be damned if he got anymore dirt on these robes, he 'borrowed' them off his father over the holidays and he had no way of fixing them if he ruined them. Ignoring the smirks of the other seated patrons of the Hogs Head Draco Malfoy stepping out into the cool night air 'Its foggy...' "I don't remember it being foggy when I came" Sure he was speaking to himself but well at least he could still talk, he couldn't walk though. A fact Draco prooved a second later as he took a step away from the door frame he had been using to keep him standing.
With a THUD Draco Malfoy found himself flat on his face in the middle of an empty Hogsmeade, with his fathers robes now well and truly covered in common dirt. Not good. All he needed now was someone who knew him to trip over him and he would find that new low he had always wondered about.
