[[ Padfoot -- Coloring by Featherpool; Lineart by ANBU-Flashez ]]
Ah... the dog park... It was one of his favorite places to hang out, especially in his Animagus form. Padfoot, although a larger dog than normal, was a friendly one. He had brought his Frisbee to play with and none of the Muggles seemed to care that he didn't have a collar or a Master.
Padfoot walked over to a young girl and plopped his Frisbee down in front of her. He crouched as he barked playfully and wagged his tail. She giggled and picked up the disc before she threw it, telling him to 'fetch.' The dog ran off and smiled to himself as he felt his dark fur whip in the wind. It was a great sensation, this freedom... It was the perfect way for him to relax after a long day at work and sometimes it was just so much easier to be a dog. He didn't have to worry about the normal concerns of humans. He didn't have to have manners or all of those other things his Pureblood parents had taught him. He finally caught up the the Frisbee and jumped up, catching it in mid-air. He settled down with the toy as he chewed and slobbered on it for a while, his tail pounding the ground the entire time.
After a moment or two the little girl from before ran up to him. "You were supposed to bring it back, silly. That's what fetch means, you know." Padfoot yipped. She gave a little excited squeak and grinned. "It's okay boy, I forgive you. Good boy. Now drop it."
The Frisbee fell from his mouth and she picked it up. She moved it around in her hand, getting his attention, and he stood as he watched it rather eagerly. His tail wagged more and he barked again. She finally wound up and threw the brightly colored disc as hard as she could. Padfoot was after it in a flash. The nearby tree kind of prevented his fun though. The Frisbee got stuck and he ran around the trunk, as if hoping that would help. He whimpered a bit and finally grew tired of that. He soon plopped down in the shade and his tongue rolled out of his mouth as he caught his breath.
This was heaven.

It was saturday and Ace was no where near school or his baby sister. He watched her like a hawk even if people didn't think that he did. He'd protect her with his life and be at her side way before anything happened to her. It was something they had developed since they were young. They were not twins but it worked kinda like a twin connection thing. However, it wasn't that it was a connection so solid and ancient that no one really knew that to call. Twins had something that was far different from what they had. Still Ace knew that she was okay with some of the family running around and he was sure that Stella being able to pick up on others emotions so easily would be able to help her until he got back. He was having one of his very off days. He needed to go do something drastic and some of the people he had met when they had gotten into England he was going to met up with them. They were all JD's. They had nothing but eachother in the first place. He was glad that they had met their father but he was willing to give his father every ounce of love and benefit of the doubt because Sirius was all he had left in the eyes of an adult figure that could possibly change his ways. Or at least make him realize what its like to have an adult care.
He caught up with his friends did a few deals with them and then had a came of cards with them where he got more money they he had come out with in the first place. The stupid woman that was his mother however didn't realize that they had found a way to get into her money and he was going to milk her for everything she was worth for putting them in a dangerous position. Of course it was his attitude that got him and his sister into the stupid place in the first place but his mother never paid attention. She just thought he was a troubled child. She didn't know how to deal with him and so here he was even worse off for it. The place had taught him more negative things then good and he'd had to bite, kill, mull, and just about anything else you could name to get his sister food to keep the guys off of her and keep her protected. He even felt like a horrible brother for it. However he remembered what happened when Snow had run off cause of an issue. He's saved her from a werewolf at the price of becoming one himself every full moon. He did it to save his sister and as luck would have it he killed the werewolf that bit him.
He said goodbye to his friends and headed off to the park to think. Contrary to popular belief Ace really liked to be in nature. It at least calmed hime down. One could tell his emotions by the way the wind was blowing around him or how the sky was looking above him. Sometimes there was a little black rain cloud over him but then some of the wizards he had met said that he had a good link with the weather. He didn't believe them but with what happened when he was angry he could see it. He watched the people in the park perched up on a branch in a tree. He had his eyes closed however trying to calm himself down. His hand caught a frisbee as it flew his direction. He heard a doog whimper at the bottom of the tree and looked down. The dog could not see him but something told him that the dog was no ordinary dog. He jumpped down out of the tree and came around to where the dog was laying and the girl was standing.
"Hey Padfoot boy. What did i tell you about making friends with strangers?" He gave a smile to the small girl. "Thanks for playing with him. He just loves people." He scratched his father behind the ear waiting to give his own father a lecture for lulling unsuspecting muggles into his presence in his animagus form. Though Ace wondered what it would be like to have one. He couldn't be one since he was were as it was. [/blockquote]

The little girl stopped beside the dog and then stared up into the branches, as if hoping that her eyes alone would cause the toy to fall down, but the Frisbee was gone. Suddenly and rather unexpectedly a teenaged boy dropped to the ground, Frisbee in hand, and addressed her. "OH! Is this your dog? What a funny name, Padfoot. Hehe. I like it." She paused for a moment and raised her head as she heard someone calling her. "That's my mum. Bye!"
Padfoot, meanwhile, wagged his tail furiously as Ace scratched him behind the ear. He tilted his head somewhat so he could see his son better. He hadn't had much time to speak to any of his children recently, but he was going to make up for that as soon as he was able to. The shock had finally worn off from the fact that he had kids to begin with and now all he felt was a pleasant warmth when he thought about it. Despite his playboy attitude, Sirius had always wanted a family of his own... After the little girl left, he got up and stretched out his legs before disappearing behind the tree. The trunk was large enough to allow him to shift back into his human form without any of the Muggles noticing and more often than not something would compel them to look away anyhow. Muggles just didn't understand Magic so they saw only what the expected to see.
He quickly returned to Ace and plopped back down on the ground once more, still acting very dog-like at this time. He once again tilted his head somewhat while he looked at the teen. "Shouldn't you be at Hogwarts?"

Ace smiled at the little girl as she addressed him and the name of the dog before them. "He likes it too and so do I. And thanks. Bye little one." He smiled after her as she ran off to her mother her. He watched until she actually disappeared on the other side of the park. He'd always imagined running to his mother of father like that. It would have been so nice to have his mother call out for him in that loving and worried voice. His mother never had. His mother had seemingly always expected him to know the rules and what to do. So she was pissed when he didn't understand. He looked back to his father but Padfoot was going behind the tree now. Ace hadn't even realized that he has stopped petting him while he watched the little girl. He sat down on the grass and sighed slightly. He was still holding the frisbree so he sent it up into the air.
His father came out from behind the tree now in his human form. Part of him wanted him a dog again. It would be far easier to tell his tale to do a dog then an actual human. However Ace figured that it would be just as hard knowing that it was indeed his father that was the dog in the first place. Why did things always have to be so complicated. His life had been anything but easy but he knew that it could have been worse. He was glad that it was not. Still life was hard and he wasn't much of a child in the first place. He was a protector and he was not even sure who he was in the first place.
He glared at his father as he mentioned hogwarts. "Its Saturday so no not really." He wanted to be snarky about the comment but it didn't come out that way really. There was a drip of sarcasm but nothing more than that. He sighed and leaned against the tree. "What made you want to come out here and play with the children Dad. I would think that you'd have work or something." It was and honest question and not one he meant to sound like the thrid degree or anything like that.

Sirius grinned at the first comment. "So it is, so it is. See? Now you're my son." He gave a laugh that sounded more like a bark. He stuck out his tongue in a very childlike manner. Maybe his children would be the next line of Marauders at the school. That thought alone was enough to make him feel a little excited. "I dunno... Sometimes it's just easier for me to be a dog than a human... Besides, today is my day off so I can do whatever I want."
He shrugged his shoulders. He readjusted himself until he was sitting Indian style on the ground. It was a lot more comfortable to him compared to all of the other positions he could have picked. In many ways Sirius still acted like he was a teenager instead of a grown man. He was silent for a few minutes as he tried to think of something else to say. He was at a complete loss. No one had ever taught him how to be a parent before and his own experiences left something to be desired. He let out a slow sigh.
"So I understand the reasoning behind wanting to get away from Hogwarts for a while, but why come here?"
