Amy looked at her mother once her mother finally spoke. A hand went up to dry her mother's tears away. Most people would think that the Malfoy children were cruel little unfeeling clones like their father but they weren't. It hurt so much to feel sometimes that even they became the hardened Malfoy's that everyone expected. If it wasn't for her mother and Snape she'd have died inside years ago. She hadn't told her mother how much she feared having been sorted into Ravenclaw. She hadn't begged the hat to put her into Slytherin though because she knew she didn't fit. She wasn't as cruel as she made herself out to be. She had her parents explosive tempers that was all otherwise she did fall a little bit far from the family tree. That's what she thought anyways and it terrified her so ever day she put on an act and in that respect she could understand how her father hid behind his own. It was just that she was fourteen years on and that mask was starting to break apart as her world crashed down around her and she had to face the music so to speak.
"I'm not the only one who got hurt mom." She finally said having realized that she should have told her mother what she had done to her father. "You know how daddy and I have really explosive tempers. You know how when I get really really upset and angry and the lights flash and the glass breaks. Well that happened and father got cut in the cheek and he was bleeding pretty bad. At the time I had intended it to hurt him but I'm sorry that it did." She knew yelling would get them no where but she was fourteen for Merlin's sake how else was she supposed to act when no one showed her how emotions were supposed to be handled. "Mommy, I have a confession to make. Promise not to get angry." She was going to tell her mother the things she had been keeping hidden because well now seemed like the time to do it. The song brought everything up again and she couldn't help but get it all out on the table now. Maybe that would get her back to being her.
