It was 23:40 and Serina had been up all night waiting for this opportunity. The grin on her face refused to leave, this had been hard earned knowledge. She practically had to beg Sirius to tell her where the kitchens where after Remus her fathers friend had told her about them. And now she finally had the chance to see it for herself and she knew exactly what she was going to ask for, chocolate fondue. She had become addicted over the summer and she was craving some now with fresh strawberries. Approaching the the painting of the bowl of fruit Serina glanced down the hall to make sure she was alone before tickling the pear and slipping in. Laughing to herself as she stepped into the brightly light room Serina found she had to squint to help her eyes adjust to the bright light. Turning in a full circle to take everything in was the first time she noticed someone else sitting at a small wooden table eating something out of a bowl "Hi" She offered, after all anyone else who know of this place had to be someone she could add to her 'like' list. Comment: Short sorry OUTFIT

It was late at night, and Shendeth was hungry. Normally he didn't eat very much but hey, he was a teenage boy after all. He had been going to ignore it when he remembered the kitchens and figured it was as good a time as any to try to get back in. He'd learned how to get inside and what it was like a year ago from Harry, who'd been told about it by James.
Since then he'd visited only a few times. The most recent of which hadn't gone as planned. Naturally his friends knew as well and one night they decided to sneak in and try to steal some firewhiskey. They'd gotten it too but soon learned that house-elves have a magic of their own, as they'd been quite literally thrown from the kitchens. However that had been a different time and tonight they didn't object when he came in alone.
Tonight he just wanted food and had given in to the more childish delight of a bowl of ice cream. There weren't any other humans there and as he sat hesitantly down at the table he didn't expect anyone else to come. But just as he was finishing, Shendeth heard the sound of the door opening and turned around. An older girl had just walked in and noticed him. She looked familiar, and after a few moments he placed her as Serina Black, James's best friend's daughter who he'd seen briefly over the summer. Since he was done eating anyway he got up and walked over to her.
She'd seemed alright, and so had earned his friendliness for the moment. "Hi Serina."
