A thirteen year old girl walked through the streets of london. She blended in rather well with her jeans and black hoodie. Her hood as over her head just in case someone saw who she was and happened to be part of the wizarding world. She could at times be mistaken for a Weasley here many not thinking twice before they said the name. However she was not a Weasley and when they looked closer they realized she was the spitting image of her mother at her age. Only minimal hints of her father. Actually most people when she had been a small child had a hard time realizing she wasn't just her mother's clone. She gave a small laugh at her thoughts and checked on the teddy bear that was in her backpack.
Moment later the teenager ducked into the leaky cauldron and walked straight through. She knew that the adult were looking at her but she didn't much care. She tapped the bricks and headed onto the streets of Diagon Alley. She kept her hood up she had little money on her right now. It was what she was given to buy her school supplies. She could very easily use her parents bank account but she didn't. She kept most of her identity hidden at all times. She walked into the book store and grabbed what she needed there. She was glad that the books worked in both places. She would have to return to France to get the rest of her books there but that was fine with her. Most everything else she could get from Diagon.
She was walking her eyes on the ground not paying attention when she ran into someone falling back and her hood falling off. Her eyes went wide as she scrambled up and made sure that her bear was okay and that she was okay.

Shendeth walked down the somewhat busy street alone. Like most everyone else he was there getting school supplies. His Mum was there too but they had separated; she was in a shop further back. He was going towards the bookstore now, but since she wouldn't be looking for him right away he was thinking of seizing the chance to have a look down Knockturn Alley. So as not to look suspicious he had better buy a couple things first though.
He had paused briefly to read a sign in a window when someone walked right into him. Shendeth stumbled a little but managed to catch himself before he fell to the ground; the other person was not so lucky. He turned around to look at them, annoyed. It was a girl not much younger than him.
"Hey! Watch where you're..." his voice trailed off as she got to her feet and he caught a glimpse of her face. His glare turned into a stare of curiosity and disbelief. She looked like Mum, but younger, so exactly like.. No. It couldn't be. But it was.

Saphira wanted to curl up in a dark corner at the current moment. A soft blush and look of apology was etched all over her face. It made her look like her mother even more. She didn't dare put her hood back up now. Thankfully there was only one person. Of course that happened to be her older brother Shendeth whom she still adored in more ways then one. She got along with him far better then she ever did with Harry. Harry was just an arrogant jerk. Shendeth listened and well he was an amazing brother and she was such a bad sister for making all of them worry about her but she...she shouldn't couldn't bring herself to go back. It just didn't seem right.
She jumped back from him when he told her to watch out. Her voice was heard as soft as it was. "I'm sorry I didn't mean too S...Shendeth." She held back the tears as she stood tall after making sure that her bear was perfectly fine. He would know the bear as well as he would know himself as he was the one that had gotten it for her. It was a birthday present from him when they were littler. She didn't know what to do right now. She just stood there in utter shock. She took a deep breath opened her mouth but nothing came out. She wasn't even sure where she wanted to start or what she wanted to say. Her eyes went down to the ground. She stood in the same way she had after their father had called her a freak. A look of defeat and shame really.
She didn't look back up but waited for him to say something.

For a brief moment he continued to look at her. Saphira.. she was alive, she was okay, she was here. He immediately felt horrible and embarrassed when he saw how upset she was. Shendeth was the one who needed to watch it, watch who he was talking to before saying something rude.
"O..of course you didn't. I'm sorry." He would never want to see her feeling bad like she was. He watched her looking at the ground, not saying anything. What was one to say after the years? Shendeth instinctively wanted to comfort her but didn't know how. So he broke the awkward silence with the only words that came to mind.
"...I missed you."
He didn't want to make her feel worse about leaving, just wanted her to know that. She would know he truly meant it. Things at home would always be incomplete and he was alone. When he was younger and she had first left he had wished she had told him she was going to run away so that they could have ran away together. He would have done it. By now he had forgiven her for the most part because she had been young. If she ever wanted to see him again he'd still be there for her.

Saphira bit her thumb nail. She's always been shy even when she was a little girl out in public. This was taking its toll on her though. She couldn't just stand there like that in front of her brother. She needed to atone for her actions. She was just afraid of coming home. She didn't feel worthy enough after all she had done. At least now Shendeth knew she was still alive. She could send him owls though school started in a few days and there was rumor of a group leaving her school and Madam M. said she could go with them. She was planning on doing so but she wasn't sure exactly where they were going. Yes now she'd have to brave it and write to her brother. She had a tone of half written letters to him and the journal she kept always started with his name. She hadn't meant to leave him all alone she just couldn't take the fighting.
She looked up at him when he said he was sorry and then said that he missed her. This spured her to go closer to him and hug him. "I'm sorry...I've missed you more then words could say. I didn't mean to leave you behind. I should have gone to you that night instead of them. But...But I...I couldn't take it." She fought with the tears that wanted to fall. She hadn't cried even as a young girl much. You couldn't when you had two boys to contend with. She vowed never to cry after what that guy had done to her so she was not going to break that now. She let go of her brother and just looked at him. He didn't look anything like father or Harry. He never really had. She was the mini clone of her mother and Shendeth had little bits of their mother in him. They were their mom's children not their fathers if anyone asked.
Then it dawned on her if Shendeth was here was Harry. She really didn't want to see that good for nothing jerk. Then she thought of her mother and opned her mouth again. "c..Could you tell mommy I'm okay." There was a look of slight fear in her eyes when she mentioned their mother. She was afraid her mother would be angry with her and she couldn't face that right now. She took a shakey deep breath and admired in a sense her brother. "I...I went home to look and see if...if you were all there and through the window unseen I...I only saw James and Harry and James said something about him and mother being divorced or something like that. Is...Is it true Shendeth?" James and Harry were having a discussion about something and it had just come up in that conversation so it made sense to Saphira to leave very quickly but she didn't know where their mother would have moved too.
"I shouldn't have runaway but I didn't know what else to do." She was sure they had looked for her but it was too late and she hadn't wanted to be found. Which meant that she hadn't been. She bit her lower lip and looked down once more.

When she hugged him he gave her a brief hug back but didn't say anything. Shendeth didn't know what to say. It was as if she knew what he had been thinking of, but then that was the way things had always been before. He was glad that she still cared and had just got upset that day, which happened to everyone. If she really couldn't take it living there then he half admired her for having the courage to leave.
Eventually Saphira let go and they stood looking at each other for a few moments. She looked much like he remembered her, only older. Then she seemed to think of something, and he did not miss the fear in her eyes or the hesitation in her wish for him to tell their mother she was okay. Shendeth guessed what she was scared of and also that her fear was unnecessary.
"Yes, I will.. She misses you too, you know." he replied gently.
He thought their mother would just be happy to know she was okay. Although they didn't talk about it a lot he could tell their mother really missed her and worried about her. Harry was James's clone and special to him; the same seemed true for their Saphira and their mother. And then there was Shendeth, the middle child who was neither, halfway between their mother and his real father.
He was silent for a moment after her next words. Then he replied, "Yes, it's true. ...It happened just a few weeks ago. James and Harry were the only ones there to see, Mother and I have a new house." Their mother had moved out and he and Harry had been given the choice of who they wanted to stay with, and Harry had of course chosen right away to stay with James. Shendeth had allowed himself a bit of thought but guessed what would happen if he lived alone with them and so had chosen to go.
He watched for Saphira's reaction to this news. The fighting was over. He had looked at her more during the last bit, hoping she knew that she was welcome to come and live with them again, and James and Harry wouldn't be able to bother her since it would be just the three of them. What had happened had happened, she couldn't change her past but they could choose the future.
Shendeth did have one question for her though, if she didn't mind answering. "Where did you go?"[/blockquote]

Saphira instantly felt the warmth from her brother as he hugged her. It was a warmth she had not felt in some time now. It lightened even her heart which she had tried to close off for so long. Still she struggled to stay standing and not be consumed with emotions that she had locked inside. She battled with the tears that wanted to fall and with launching into a full on explanation of everything. Still she had to be careful. Even as a small child if her emotions got the better of her she would end up passing out. It was also why she had run to Shendeth after her father called her a freak for making Harry fall out of a tree and break his arm. It wasn't her fault exactly Harry had been making fun of her while she read under the tree and she just wanted him out of it. She hadn't meant that time for him to get hurt. She tried to explain it but James was too upset to listen. She and Harry had both gotten punished for the ordeal but she had told Shendeth everything before passing out from the strain. It was like that now but she could hold on longer then she used too.
She launched into a few breathing exercise as she let go of him to keep stable. That was the only what she had kept her head straight to ask him the questions that she had. She looked back up at him when he told her that mom missed her too. A small smile came to her face. It made her happy that her mom in a sense still cared but she was still scared. Though her fears were slowly washing away in the gentleness of her brothers voice. Not many people got that voice from him. She knew that all too well. She just wanted her mother to know she was alright. She was not ready to go back. She didn't see how she could after all she had put her mother and even Shendeth through. Still she needed to at some point. She took another deep breath as Shendeth told her about her their parents divorce. She was glad that her mother had divorced James. She didn't not care for what reason or any bad things that her mother may have done in the past. Nothing would ever stop Saphira from loving her own mother. James on the other hand had sealed his fate the second time he had called her a freak. That time she got punished serverely by James and had not been able to open her mouth to tell anyone about it. It wasn't that her father hit her or anything it was just what had been said.
She shook her head. "You moved...is..is it nice were you and mother are?" She could tell that that he was watching her reactions and she was stuttering because she was nervous which she'd done when she was a small child as well. She could tell by what he said that she'd be welcome to come and live with them. Her eyes seemed to sparkle for a little bit. Something that had not been in them in a long time. Only she was afraid and not ready for it. Then the question she dreaded came out of Shendeth's mouth. Lying would get her no where but how was she supposed to tell her brother what happened. She took a deep breath and looked at him for a few moments as she exhaled the breath she had taken in. She opened her mouth once and nothign came out so she tried again and this time the words started to form. Her accent changed from its normal british accent to a mix of British and French.
"I didn't go very far at first. But a man found me on the streets when it was raining one night and I was sick so he took me in. I...I can't tell you what happened it...its to...it too hard." She fought back the tears she wasn't going to cry she wasn't going to do that.Though Shendeth could now visibly see her fighting tears. "I...I found my way home and looked in the window but mom and dad were fighting so I...I went back to the man. I came back again but felt to...to dirty to even knock on the door so I ran again. Then the man was killed. By then we were in France and i was shipped off to the orphange." At some point her bear ended up in her arms. How exactly she couldn't be sure but she was glad for it. She held it tightly as she went on. "I...I go to beauxbatons. It'll be my third year there." That was all she was going to say. She fell to her knees when finished completely out of breath and struggling even to stay conscious at the moment.

Shendeth could see her getting nervous and gave her a small smile. He nodded when she asked about their new house. "It's very nice." If being out in the middle of nowhere where there was little to do and nobody familiar was nice. It was oddly empty and quiet with just the two of them in such a place. But it was safe. The house was nice, much bigger than the cottage back home. It would just take some getting used to.
Although he caught the sparkle in Saphira's eyes that meant she might want to come back he could tell from the way she was acting that she wasn't ready to yet, so he didn't ask her about it. Instead he listened with some concern as she struggled to tell her story. Of course it had been hard, he didn't want to make her cry thinking about it but he wanted to know whatever she could tell him.
"You don't have to." he said reassuringly to her when she stopped, telling him it was too hard to give details. However his eyes darkened a little; clearly what had happened hadn't been good. Shendeth would have hugged her again but waited for her to keep talking. He didn't interrupt, there was nothing to say, just listened. When she brought her teddy bear out he saw it but didn't give it much thought it was all concern for his sister and what she had been through. She should never have felt unworthy to come back when she was the one who had suffered for leaving, not their family.
At least she was okay now, if Beaxbatons was anything like Hogwarts. So she had still been able to start school at the same age she would have if she had stayed. Going to France explained why she was missing but alive. Shendeth remembered looking for her in the new students his second year at Hogwarts hoping she was just living somewhere else. But she hadn't been there. It was only then that he had faced the fact that he would never see her again and wondered if she was even alive. Heaven knows with that and all that had happened that year hadn't been a good one, not at all.
When Saphira had finished he didn't know what to say but it didn't look like she would be able to hear it anyways. Instead he crouched down beside her and waited for her to recover. "Thank you for telling me what you did." he said softly seeing how hard it was for her to talk about what had happened.

Falling unconscious on the busy Diagon Alley streets would not be a good thing. On top of that she wasn't ready to see her mother yet and that would be a sure fire way to do what she was afraid of doing. Shendeth she could handle because she and Shendeth had been so close as younger siblings. It was the way it had always been and she should have never felt ashamed to look him up or anything after she had left. Still she did have a half a dozen letters written to him that at some point she might let him see. She listened as he told her that the place they had moved to was nice. She was glad of that. Maybe it was a place were they'd be able to be away from everyone else out in nature. That was something that Saphira loved. It was the whole reason why she read or even wrote in her journal outside most nights. She'd been caught a few times out past curfew just staring at the stars with no real thought involved.
Saphira heard her brothers words when he said that she didn't have to tell him anything. She wanted to tell him what happened to her. What the man did to her but it just wouldn't come out without a whole slew of emotions that would end in her running away and curling up in a corner. Still he had allowed her to go on listening to her intently. She was still wondering how here bear got into her arms. She never went anywhere without it most of the time. As she finally regained composure she looked at the expression and body language of her brother as he digested what she had said to him. She was glad that he finally knew that she was alive and at least safe when she was at Beauxbatons at least. It took him a long time to say anything and before she knew it he was crouched down next to her.
She wrapped her arms around him again in a hug and burried her head in his chest. "I missed you so much. I want to tell you more but I don't know how." She gave off a little shudder but nothing more than that. It seemed like a long time before she finally once again let go of her brother and stood back up. She looked around to see if anyone had been watching them. It didn't look like it which meant that suprisingly they ahd not brought attention onto themselves. "Madam M. says a group of us are going to a different school this year. I'm not sure what school that is or what its about but it should be interesting. At least I hope it is cause she said that I could go along." There was a slight smile on her face. She was proud of being chosen to go from the small group of kids that were going and were her age. She's dreamed about going to Hogwarts the way mother and father used to tell them stories about it. However she was very happy to be at Beauxbatons.
Saphira always had the uncanny way of changing the hard subjects around quickly to something a little lighter. "How is Hogwarts?" She was curious to know what was up with her brother. She hadn't seen him in forever and she had the curious nature about her.

When Saphira hugged him again Shendeth wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back. "It's okay." he replied to what she said. Assuming they would start seeing each other again she could tell him when she was ready, if she ever figured out how he would listen. He didn't want this to be the last time he saw her. Shendeth held her close, glad she was there. They stayed in that position for some time but he didn't mind or let go until she did; thankfully there weren't many people going by to stare or walk into them.
Eventually they stood up and Shendeth listened as she told him about what was going to happen this year. "Well, have a good time." he said seeing her smile. There had been some recent rumors of something different happening at Hogwarts this year as well. Could that be where she was going? Well it was best not to get hopes up when he didn't know anything about it but just wait and see.
And thinking of Hogwarts.. he had no objection to the subject change, it was nice to talk about something better and of course she would want to know if anything interesting had happened to him. "Hogwarts is great." Shendeth replied, cracking a small smile of his own. It was true, in general he liked it there. He had met some good friends after all. He didn't have to see Harry there either since they were in different Houses, of course they usually had one or two classes together but he would never sit near him.

Saphira had finally completely composed herself now. She was once again standing on her own two feet of course. Her brothers words made her calm down. When she was younger Shendeth had been her rock and he still was. She had missed him terribly but was in a sense afraid of what he would say when she finally did find a way to tell him what happened. It was something that made her feel so unworthy in the first place. She didn't fee worthy enough for any of the good things that had happened since. Still she tried to make it seem like nothing phased her. Her emotions still got the better of her at times and many of the students in Beaxubatons called her a freak as well. She tried not to care but she really did. Still she had friends there so it wasn't all that bad.
She smiled when her brother told her to have a good time. "I definitly hope it will be a good time." She wondered if he'd heard in rumors but decided not to voice out her thoughts. He finally told her that Hogwarts was great. "Please tell me you and Harry are seperated cause I would fear what would happen to the school if you were not." It wasn't like the two of them actually fought or anything to that effect. It was the mere fact that Saphira was sure if they spent more then they wanted to together they would kill eachother. She had so many questions running through her mind but that just happened to be her first. She took a look down the street to make sure no one was paying attention to them or that she'd get caught off guard by her mother or something to that effect.
"How did your sorting go?" She had heard many things about the sorting at Hogwarts but she wasn't sure which to believe or not. On the other hand many people would wonder how she could go from being extremely upset one minuet to perfectly fine the next. It was a normal occurrence for her family though. A muggle had said she seemed bipolar whatever that was when they had met her on the streets with a friend who was trying to calm her down. She had shrugged it off not caring in the first place. She just had her mood swings that was all. And she tried to hard to shut them all down.

Shendeth saw how quickly Saphira was calm again but remembered that's how she was. That was a good thing about her in his opinion. It was good to be able to talk to her again even if he didn't know when the next time would be. Hopefully at Hogwarts this year. Shendeth couldn't help but grin a little at her words because he knew they were true.
"Don't worry, we are." he said. They were as separated as any two in the same year could get. He didn't really hate Harry but if they were in the same House and therefore never apart.. yeah not good. The summer holidays were the limit, if forced into each other's company all the time at school there was no telling how long it would take for him to snap. Luckily the way things were everything was fine though the time of being and different Houses and having completely different friends only increased their rivalry and distance.
He turned his attention back to Saphira as she asked about the Sorting. It was a day he remembered pretty well. He had been just as nervous as any first year but it had gone fine.. he remembered the hat's voice in his head as it mentioned his father before Sorting him right away. He hadn't told anyone beforehand in case he didn't get in but he had in fact gotten exactly the House he wanted. The differences didn't matter as much to him as they did to some kids, Shendeth knew there was more to a person then just that but he was proud of where he was.
"It went fine. I got into Slytherin. Harry's in Gryffindor." he replied smiling. Neither was much of a surprise probably. Saphira went to Beaxbatons so he didn't know how much she remembered; she had asked about the Sorting but he wondered if it meant anything to her. Oh well.

Saphira was extremely interested in the sorting of students at Hogwarts. She had not gone through theirs but one of her own at Beaxubatons which was rather different from the housing system at hogwarts. Saphira has picked up Hogwarts a History at some point during her summer inbetween first and second year at Beaxubatons. Her house at Beaxubatons she assumed with be the equvilant of Hogwarts Ravenclaw. There was no doubt in her school work that she was her mothers child either. Saphira was a rather intellegent girl which was to be expected. She listened intently on what her brother had to say.
She breathed a sigh of relief when he mentioned that he and Harry were indeed saperated. She was very glad of that and showed it through a bright smile in which even her eyes sparkled. It was an expression saved only for Shendeth and her mother. Shendeth had been sorted into Slytherin which was no surprise to Saphira. It wasn't that she had a clue about who his rightful father was or that her mother had done anything wrong. It was based merely on the fact that she knew her brother well. Harry getting into Gryffindor just affirmed her conformation that Harry was the clone of her father. She disliked them both but she would never say that she hated them. There was something wrong with hating you blood sadly enough.
It had given rise to Voldemort if she had read her history correctly. She was rather interested in history and how things worked in general. She thought that learning from others mistakes and your own made you a better person. Things in her life and shown her that and made her wise in a sense for her years. It wasn't to say that she still didn't have things she needed to learn because she did.
"Where would you put me if you were to sort me into a house at Hogwarts Shendeth." she was sure he'd have some time to think about it. After all he hadn't known her since she was about nine. [/blockquote]

What house did he think Saphira should be in at Hogwarts? As she had predicted this unexpected question was one that required thought. Shendeth wondered if they had Houses like that at Beaxbatons, or something similar. It was rather different, how the Sorting happened and what it was based on. What was it based on, anyway? It seemed like personality but there could be two completely different people in the same House, since everyone was different. Most people probably had bits of all four in them, himself included. Family and choice had some affect but clearly it wasn't everything.
"Um.." Shendeth didn't pretend to be a Sorting Hat. It would be nice if they both went to Hogwarts and were in the same house, but he didn't see her fitting in there. Not Slytherin. Gryffindor sounded a bit more likely but that wasn't right either, Saphira wasn't anything like Harry. Hufflepuff wasn't a likely choice either, he thought thinking back to the descriptions of each House.
"Maybe Ravenclaw." he concluded. That one sounded best, though it was true a lot could have changed in the past four years. He didn't know what kind of grades she got in school or how much she cared about that but it probably wasn't the only factor. Shendeth didn't put a whole lot of extra effort into it but was still one of the best in their year and a Slytherin, and he had come across some rare Ravenclaws that seemed pretty stupid. Not that Saphira was stupid at all; far from it. But whatever. The Sorting Hat was the one to ask if she really wanted to know, not him.

Saphira wasn't even sure what it was that sorted her brother. She'd heard rumors about a hat or something to that sort. Still she wondered where her brother would place her and nothing else. She'd been so frightened when she got placed in her house at Beauxbatons as well. It wasn't a long process but she hadn't exactly liked it much. Plus she'd been scared as it was because she'd not been around children or even at a school with others since she'd turned nine. Still she was smart and she had been accepted by a few people so everything her first year had gone well. There were people she liked and people she did not like, though she was sure that woud happen anywhere at any given time.
At the moment she was happy and scared to be going some place new this year. The fact that only a handful had been invited to go made her feel rather special. She couldn't believe that Madame M would let her go at such a young age. However Madame M trusted her enough to be on good behavior and that's exactly what the young girl was going to be on. She waited patiently for her brother to think it out. It took him time like she thought it would but he finally concluded that she would be in Ravenclaw. That was the house after reading Hogwarts a Histroy she thought she'd get into too. She gave him a bright smile and though of another subject they could talk about but her mother again came into her mind.
She bit her lower lip and looked up at the sky as if to judge the time they had been standing there. She hoped that she wasn't keeping her brother from anything. "Shendeth, How is Mom? Is she happier now that she'd not with James?" She wasn't sure if her brother could answer that but if she coudl get that her mom was happier without asking her directly for the time being then all was good. She didn't know exactly how to approach her mother after having fun away and she was sure Shendeth knew she wasn't ready for it yet. She looked back up again and then back at him. "I do hope I'm not keeping you from anything brother." [/blockquote]
