Kind : Cedric is known to be kind and nice to all, it is in his nature to be friendly to everyone and helpful if possible, he was the perfect Hufflepuff. it was obvious how he always tried his best not to let anyone be uncomfortable of his actions or decisions and tried as much as possible to make people around him feel better.
Brave : Not a Gryffindor but still more brave than most of them, Cedric never turned down a challenge and always got in very dangerous situations, not caring about the consequences or the threats only aiming for the win, the prize, and the glory.
Popularity :Cedric is one of the most known kids around Hogwarts, people always seemed to know who he is, and tried to be friends with him. Only he doesn't think so, he always says that he just tries to be himself with others as much as possible. Still, Cedric's acts are a very good example for students to follow, he always succeeds in making people around him laugh, even by just passing by.
For some reason, girls went crazy about him, fights started in common rooms over him and discussion were made in the girls bathrooms, Cedric is the target of every girl's eye in Hogwarts.

Cedric was born to a small family, he had nobody around him but his parents, he is their only child. His father is a ministry official in the department of mysteries. His mother was also working at the ministry, but she decided to fully dedicate herself to her family.
The Diggory family lived somewhere near Ottery St. Catchpole, Cedric was raised to know all about the wizarding world and set to tend toward good rather than death eaters and their dark ways. Both his parents are of the finest people there is in the wizarding world.
Cedric got sorted to Hufflepuff when he got to Hogwarts. And soon enough, he started to attract a lot of attention, both his peers and professors noticed in him a kind, good brave young boy, as well as a behaved student and a brilliant example too others. He got more and more popular among the school staff and joined the quidditch team.
At his fifth year, he was set captain of the quidditch team, as well as a Hufflepuff prefect. He remained in both the positions until he got to his seventh year, the year he shall be chosen as one of the hogwarts champions for the tournament.

Imagine hearing your father repeating that every time he met a friend while walking around with you somewhere. But Thank god ! Cedric was finally at Hogwarts away from his family's traditions and his father's embarrassing moves, but not far enough to avoid their constant Owls, one after the other.
Cedric really adored his family, he was his mother's pride and his father's crown jewel, he respected and loved them the most, while they took pride in what he has turned into. The castle was silent at that late hour and Cedric's footsteps were the only sound in the halls except for the little noise the fire on the torches made. One year ago, people would think he was up to something, he would probably be dragged to Professor Dumbledore's office. But thanks to a little badge on his robes, he was getting that pleasure this year.
Over the past 3 hours, he passed through all of the second, third, fourth and fifth corridors and checked the classrooms. All seemed to be as it should be and he didn't bother to check the other levels, his schedule only included those, the others were part of the Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor duties.
God, he wished he could run into Cho Chang on his way down, he smiled at his own thoughts and allowed himself to be dragged into a little memory, or a fantasy, before he came back to real life after that peeves went right through him, it was so cold but also amusing, maybe Peeves just saved him from falling down the stairs to his death. He sighed and kept going toward his common room. Those dreams can wait for later. .
