The first time her father abused her. When Pansy was about eight years old she didnt understand why her father hated muggles and muggleborns so she questioned him, this lead to her being beat and left with a long deep scar accross her right side of her hip.

Snobish - Pansy is quite snobish about the fact she is pureblood, she, like many other Slytherins and the Death Eaters, thinks this makes her better than anyone else in the school, and the rest of the magical world, and she rubs this into peoples faces for example she and Draco bully Hermione Granger for being muggle born.
Fasion - Pnasy has a great eye for fasion, both robes and muggle clothes. It may seem odd that such a proud pureblood likes muggle clothes but she says that there is only so much you can do with robes. One day Pansy hopes to open her own shop.
Guys - Pansy has a real reputation as a flirt and for sleeping around, though it is also well known she has a soft spot for her good friend Draco Malfoy who she has a history with. Pansy craves this male attention because she has never had positive attention from her family, who arn't close to her.
Slytherin - Pansy, as well as being a proud Pureblood, is also, a proud Slytherin. Of course she thinks her house is best, especially since the Dark Lord is from that house and she is a keen supporter of the Death Eaters now the war is becoming more and more public. Pansy shares many of Slytherins famous personality traits, for example; ambitious, shrewd, cunning, strong leaders, and achievement-oriented., and a highly developed senses of self-preservation. This means that Slytherins tend to hesitate before acting, so as to weigh all possible outcomes before deciding exactly what should be done.
Appearence - Appearence is very important to Pansy, just like fasion. Pansy always aims to look her best by doing her hair and makeup and accessorising her school robes with jewelry and nice shoes and a bag. Pansy finds these things important because of a deep rooted inner lack of confidence fuled by her fathers beatings and her brothers high intellegence.

Pansy is a stereotypical "mean girl" and a female version of Draco Malfoy many ways, as she is the leader of her gang of Slytherin girls at school. She very often makes snide remarks and insults towards other students, inparticular Gryffindors; including the Golden Trio and the Weasley family. She has a tendency to shout her insults loudly to get maxium response from her victams.
Pansy is not very bright, or at least does not do well academically. She also tends to be rather dramatic, as she overreacted to any injury Draco Malfoy suffered in their third year in Care of Magical Creatures and demanded Hagrid be sacked. Pansy also enjoys gossip, making things appear worse than they are.
Deep down all this harsh exterior is due to her many insecurities; including not living up to her fathers expections of her to become a death eater. Pansy also feels she has to show off her body and looks because she is not very bright, which deep down she feels upset about and takes this out on Hermione because she is the brightest in their year.

Pansy grew up in your average rich, Pureblood household, both her mother and father were Death Eaters so their ideals were beat into her from an early age and was taught to taunt muggles, muggle borns, and squibs from the time she could tell the difference between a wizard and a muggle. The first time her father abused her was when Pansy was about eight years old and she didn't yet understand why her father hated muggles and muggleborns so she questioned him, this lead to her being beat and left with a long deep scar accross her right side of her hip.

Pansys brother is 2 years older than her and is the smartest of the Parkinson children, he excelled in all his OWL's and NEWT's. As soon as he left school he joined the Death Eaters who are currently planning the Darlk Lords rise back to power. Pansys father wants her to over achieve her brother but she is not smart so at home she is abused by both her father and brother. At school she feels the need to get attention because of the lack of attention at home.

Pansy Parkinson started at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1991 and was sorted into Slytherin like the rest of her family going back generations. Pansy soon became good friends with other Slytherins such as Draco Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle. Pansy was also popular and friends with the girls including Millicent Bulstrode and Daphne Greengrass in her house and was like the groups leader. She and Draco both are mean and powerful amongst their friends and use this to bully people.

It was way past curfew and Miss Pansy Parkinson was in, what would appear to the world to be, a very unusual mood for her confident, hard exterior. Pansy was currently sitting at the bottom of the second floor stairs dazing into space, her mind wandering. This behaviour would be expected from someone such as that "loony" Lovegood in Ravenclaw, Pansy sneered to herself as she thought of this. On principal Pansy hated the girl, although she has never actually spoken to her.
When in these moods Pansy always questioned these innate hatreds, but then quickly ignored the niggling feeling of uncertainty... her family with their pureblood mania, and Pansy’s desperate bid to be accepted by them, although the majority of the time Pansy enjoyed this pureblood lifestyle and took pleasure in making herself feel better by insulting the filthy bloods, and those who generally did not live up to her standards... or her fathers. Pansy shuddered at the thought of her father and flinched as she realised she'd been crying.
Pansy slowly lifted her shirt hem to expose her hip on the right side and traced her finger across the scar that stretched round her side. Pansy suddenly felt a presence behind her. She quickly smoothed out her very short skirt and transparent blouse and wiped her eyes. Pansy was now extremely aware of the fact that her makeup must have smudged down her face, owing to both her crying and that it was almost midnight so she had begun to remove it before deciding she needed to go for a walk.
