Charlie was lying on the grass of the Quidditch pitch, directly in the middle of it and staring up at the cloudy blue sky. Despite the fact that it was September and it was Scotland, the weather was remarkably good, warm with a slight breeze. No one was playing on the pitch, Monday afternoons normally just involved people lying down in their common rooms and trying to re-adjust to school after the weekend. Anyway, she had got bored of Charms homework and had headed down to the Quidditch pitch to stop her friends from killing her as she distracted them from their Astronomy homework. She was rather bored just lying here, yet didn't want to fly around, especially not alone. So she lay there, her ripped jeans ruffling in the jeans as she fiddled with the cloth bracelets at her wrists, her long dark brown hair in a plait away from her face. She thought she heard somebody approaching but didn't bother to turn her head, she would find out who it was soon anyway. Outfit

The Hufflepuff Common room was becoming more and more unbearable. Everyone was turning into the perfect student at the mentioning of Snape's potions class first thing in the morning. It was out of the question that he would stay there, it was suffocating and almost every other part of the castle was filled with a bunch of little firsties.
Come to think about it, Cedric was in need of a little flying, it might come in handy, seeing that all quidditch matches were cancelled for the triwizard tournament, so that means that his senior year was going to be more boring that he thought it would. So long for a goodbye match. It crossed his mind to sign up for the tournament, his father has been writing to him about it every day since he heard it was taking place.
Arriving to the quidditch pitch, he saw someone was already there, on the ground. Cedric changed his route, no longer to the locker room, and straight to the figure in the middle of the field. Getting close it turned out to be a girl. "Hey, everything alright ?"

Charlie looked up at the boy standing over her, his face so far away from hers. She quickly recognized him as Cedric, the Hufflepuff boy who was in her year. She had never really spoken to him, though she shared a few of his classes and had done throughout her time at Hogwarts. She also knew him as a member of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team who Ravenclaw had played (and beaten) many times. But she was a Chaser and he a seeker so there wasn't that much interaction between the two of them. He seemed nice though, so there was no need to be rude. "Hey! Yeah," She shrugged. £It's alright, how's stuff with you?" As she spoke she pushed herself up so she was resting on her elbow, looking up at him and rather hoping he would sit down rather than standing over her in a manner she could only describe as creepy.
