Charlie was glad for the weekend when it finally arrived. Her choice of subjects was wearing her to the bone. She had been wandering aimlessly through the castle and it's grounds, hoping to run into someone interesting or something cool. She found herself on the bridge, right at the center, peering over the edge. She spent a few minutes dropping small pebbles to the ground, watching as the fell in silence, before hitting the rocks below with a crack. But that was boring. Charlie had spent the whole week trapped inside the castle, fingers clenched around a quill, leaving ink stains all over her hands. She frowned for a moment, staring out at the black lake. Before an idea hit her and she grinned, her eyes sparkling. She grabbed the iron bars and heaved her body up landing her feet against the wooden barrier. She stuck her body up through the space between the bars and felt the wind on her face, enjoying the freedom. After a moment of relaxation, Charlie moved again, dropping so she sat on the barrier, her fingers loosely around the bars. She grinned again and leaned even further over the edge, watching birds soar beneath her as she perched on the thin wood. But she wasn't scared, she never was. Outfit
