She twisted to face him. She couldn't see any blood but that was not an indicator of anything as she could only see one half of her arm. There was no pain, but Scarlett had always had a high threshold for pain. Extending her arm out to him he she looked up, brown eyes indifferent to the possibility of an injury. "So? Is it cut?" She glanced down at the flower of the floor, close to his foot. "Please be careful not to tread on the flower, if I have cut my arm, I don't want it to be for nothing." She suspected that was not his main concern right now, but she could not bring herself to be that bothered. She wouldn't die after all.

Severus examined the rip in her sleeve, looking for any kind of break in her skin or even a drop of blood... But there was nothing. It seemed like the thorn had only caught hold of her clothing rather than Scarlett herself, which was a relief. One couldn't be too sure though so he made a mental note to watch the Slytherin teen more closely to see if she developed any symptoms.
"I don't believe so." He gave a dry chuckle at her next words. "Ms. Rosen, I'm more concerned about you at the moment then these bloody flowers. Besides, I can always harvest them later, if necessary."
He conjured a basket and put their flowers inside; a grand total of two so far. It felt like he was about to make a bouquet. Or had suddenly turned into a girl. Either way...
