The gate opened at his whispered command, the dark metal picking up it's master's magic and embracing it as it curled away from his body to allow his entrance to the manor. His footsteps crunched their way toward the house, his face emotionless, only a glimmer of happiness in his grey eyes showing his true feelings. As he approached the manor itself, the door was pulled quickly open by a small house elf, her bulbous green eyes wide. "Mister Malfoy. It is much good to have you back. We is all missing you."He rolled his eyes at Libby, his over enthusiastic elf who was far to attached to the family. But she was a good elf who worked hard and never betrayed the family, not like the ratty Dobby he had happily got rid off. He passed her with no more than a nod and dropped his coat and cane into her hands, taking his wand from it first and slipping it into his robes. Quickly he ascended the marble to find his wife after such a trying day at work. Sometimes he felt he was the only one with brains in the entire ministry and that did make them fantastically easy to manipulate, it did mean he had to put so much more work in. Heavens knows what would have happened if he had not been able to delay that paper about the threat of Death Eaters not yet in Azkaban. Lucius had worked hard to keep his social status after the war and he was not about to loose it now, not for anything. He turned down a second corridor and could hear soft music emitting from a door to his left. His shoulders relaxed and a small smile slipped across his features as he opened the door. "Narcissa, my dear." |

Narcissa was sitting on the couch with her feet up, she was absorbed into her book that she had bought this morning at florish and Blotts. Her eyes wandered to the grand piano, she had started writing songs and composing melodies in her spare time. She set down the book and walked to the piano. Her fingertips brushed the keys, as a soft melody flowed from the piano she sang.

He smiled gently and approached her, reaching to wrap his arms around his beautiful wife. Her voice was so stunning and it had reminded him of when he had first courted her. Lucius was lucky that he had fallen for the woman so quickly and saved himself a devastating arranged marriage.
He murmured an answer to her question, his eyes flickering shut for a moment as he blocked out the world and everything that was not about his wife.
"It was painful. The place has gone to the dogs, it is overrun with stupid morons who do not know their place. I have to try and educate them as to how things work but they seem to love rebelling against the way things work."
He sighed and closed his eyes, breathing in her scent and forcing himself to calm down, that was over now. He was back with his wonderful wife.
"How was your day, I was glad to hear you singing again, you had stopped since Draco left for school."

Narcissa felt the warmth of Lucius and she embraced it greatly, she twisted her fingers in his hair. She thought of their wedding day, walks along the sea shore, their life so far,and of course the birth of Draco. Lucius still looked like the clever teenager she secretly had a crush on for so many years of course she had never told him that until he had proposed to her.
"I'm lucky to be with such a aristocratic man to complete me"she whispered trying to cheer him up from his bad mood from work. "well Darling, they are not only Morons but Idiots too, for not listening to you." She said in her bell like voice, her icy blue eyes tinkled like stars into his cold grey ones.
"my day was quite interesting, I went shopping for a new book a new Midnight one. Well I had felt the urge and besides the piano was getting dusty, I also started writing songs of memories and our love, basically songs reflecting my mood." after she said this her ruby red lips touched his, she felt the fireworks explode.

He treated her to one of his rare, beautiful smiles, the one he only allowed himself to indulge in around her. Lucius would never regret the day she accepted his proposal. He had thought his life couldn't get any better, until she gave birth to his two, beautiful, fantastic children who had joined her in the ranks of people he would die for.
"And I am lucky to be with the most beautiful woman in the whole world."
He muttered the words into the softness of her blond hair, savoring the her sweet and intoxicating scent that he lived for.
"Thank you, my dear. I am glad you had a good day and it was a fantastic present to not only come home to you, but also to your sweet voice filling the air."
Her red lips brushed against his and sparks flew behind his eyes as he watched her beautiful face, the feel of her lips against his reminding him of everything he had ever loved about her.
She was his goddess, his queen, she was everything he had ever wanted.
Lucius was a cold, harsh cruel man. But she made his icy heart being to thaw and let him feel again.

Narcissa gave him a smile back, just as dazzling and beautiful as his. "I missed you, so I wrote a song for you"she said in a soft and sweet voice. She wrapped a strand of his hair in her finger. "I thought you would like to hear me sing again, so I bought some more parchment and wrote you a special song from my heart."she murmured his ear. her eyes darted to the pink diamond ring that Lucius had wed her with, she swore she had never seen anything more beautiful than it. Besides him.
Narcissa's model like body pressed against his, "there has been a song I have been dying to play for you."she said unwrapping his hair from her delicate pale finger.
She kept her smile and stared at his perfect face, the face of her knight in shining armour.

He stared down at her, unalbe to look away, as many ment were when faced with a woman of such beauty. Many had remakred that Bellatrix was the most stunning of the sisters, but Bella was a streak of lust, Narcissa was like a diamond, so perfect and so beautiful, yet so strong and powerful.
"Sing for me, please Cissy. I can play if you only wish to sing, or a duet. We have not played the piano together in so long. It was your musical talent that caught me when I met you."
He gently let go of her, moving away, but aloowing his magic to linger near her and feeling hers move with him. So close was their bond that their magic was weaving together, mirroring their bond.
He took qa seat by the paino and let him fingers rest upon the keys, looking up at her, his eyes alight with anticipation.

Narcissa smiled as he spoke, "we shall both sing. Our song. Because you are the Music in me then I sing a special song to you" she said in her soft sweet bell like tones. As they pulled apart, Narcissa danced to the piano. She rubbed her locket, it said "to my love" Lucius had given it to her while she was pregnant with the twins, inside the picture was of their wedding day.
"ready?" she said laughing. She then started warm up with the scales " Do ri mi fa so la ti do" she sang before actually started to sing

He stood, moving away from the piano as they finished the song and took her hand gently, leading her over the the couch and sitting, feeling her warmth by his side.
He stared around the room, a moment of silence taking him over. That was the sound of the manor, silence. It was a large place with only four people to occupy it and it was especially quiet with his children gone.
Lucius could not bring himself to say he missed his children, he didn't much of the time. He was very fond of them, loved them in fact.But he would never tell them that, he would never be able to bring himself to tell his own children he loved them.
Maybe his heart really was made of ice.
"I don't like the thought of you alone in the manor all day. You should visit your friends more."

She followed Lucius to the couch and leaned on his shoulder, closing her eyes. She was happy but she hid a secret from him. She was preggers with his baby and she wasa week along. She was not sure weather it was a boy or a girl but she aimed for a girl. She would name her either Sabrina or Andormeda. Her eyes fluttered open and closed as she thought of her parents and her sister who was in Asakban
Narcissa had her secrets like Lucius had his "Im used to it ever since you became one of "them" Luce"

He winced at her words, his hand moving involuntarily to his arms were her cluchted at the dark mark hidden under his shirt. Her words had cut through him like a knife, as they had done many times before. He knew Narcissa had been worried about his joining the Death Eaters, but he had promised her it would be fine. He had never suspected that she would be tortured for his wrong-doing. His fear of her being hurt again had made him the loyal servant he appeared. The mark on his arm was his greatest regret. Without it his wife would never have been hurt, he wouldn't fear for his children's lives.
he bowed his head into her hair to hide his pain and spoke softly.
"I am sorry my dear. For everything. I always will be, I should never have put you through that."
He pressed his lips to the top of her head nad inhaled her beautiful scent, wishing there was a way out of the Death Eater madness.

Narcissa opened her eyes and sighed at his words, she remembered being tortured by the Dark Lord for Lucius's failure but she tried to not remember as much as she could, she never want him to leave. She wanted him to stay and keep holding her but when he was called he had to go. It sucked being a death Eater's wife but she adapted. "It's okay Luce, I have something that will cheer you up" she murmured into his ear. She smiled and began to sing.

He curled closer as she began to sing, resting his blonde head on her chest so he could hear her heartbeat. It was steady and soft and it reminded him of how lucky he was to have her. His long fingers rested on her thigh and tapped in time to the music that filled the room as she sang, as sweet as a song bird.
However her words surprised him.
"Coots cave?"
He blinked, remembering his proposal, their wedding, their wedding night and all the wonderful times that had come after that. His work had kept him away from home recently, so it would be nice to spend some quality time with his wife.
Of course my dear. It can be arranged."
he leaned to her and gently kissed her, one hand resting on her pale cheek.

Narcissa Stoked his Cheek as she sang, her voice filling the manor. Her heartbeat fluttered as she hit every note, with perfection. Just for him,Just for Lucius. "yes, we have not been there since Draco and Amy were babies. I even wrote a song for it." She layed backand ran his golden lock through her fingers. She picked up a hair brush a brushed his hair. "You know, You still look like that clever and Sly Slytherin I fell in love with 15 years ago."
She hummed to him the tune of "ode to Coot's Cove" It was a song/story she would sing to Amy and Draco when they were young. As his hand rested on her cheek, she gently kssed him on the forehead.

He felt safe. More safe than he could ever feel anywhere else. Since the death of his mother, Narcissa had been his only source of true comfort. She had known him since he was young, had seen his father's beatings and understood how difficult it was for him to open up. She was the only person who had truly drawn him from the shell he had created for himself.
He pressed closer to her, wanting to as close as possible to his beautiful wife, savoring her gentle scent. He tilted his head to look at her as she spoke and responded in a soft, silky voice..
"And you are just as beautiful as the cunning, icy minx I married all those years ago..."
He smirked and leaned up, pressing his head to her neck and relaxing as she brushed his hair. His lips brushed across her neck gently as he gave a gentle purr.
